In theory yes, that's by definition what FACS is made for. We are working on it you can keep an eye on Github as well, for the earliest update.Ĩ.1 has universal FACS meaning it can be used for facial mocap? I think i read somewhere that it's running on opensubdiv which would make compatible with other softwares? Or maybe Blender multires can help in this regard? Keep up the great work! Is support for 8.1 on the way? - 8.1 has universal FACS meaning it can be used for facial mocap? Would love to see this in Blender - I think the biggest issue currently, is that there is not much support for high subD mesh/morphs, have you considered making catmark the subdivision system daz3d is using for DCC. Hi team, Awesome work on the bridges! I have a few questions or proposals. I'll keep my eye out on the Github as well. That's wonderful to hear! As long as I know it's coming at some point, I can be patient.

I will keep you in mind in the future Bennie Thanks for reaching out! If anyone else has any ideas, I will be working to integrating the work other Daz Users create for the bridges in the meantime. The FBX Importer in Blender has a lot of problems so, it was tricky to get it to work properly. We will be updating the Github soon with all the new updates for Blender that has been hard at work at creating. That's where we hope the community can help us out. I am sorry I won't be able to promise anything in the near future as we will be jumping between bridges.

Yeah it's pretty great right haha! That's exactly what we want all our bridges to do in the future. Thanks Bennie! We are pretty small team here at Daz so happy to hear your kind words :) If you're ever looking for beta testers for stuff that's happening animationwise with the bridge, just throwing it out there to shoot me a message as that's pretty much all I do and I would be more than happy to help in any way I can. Maya Indie is under 300 bucks, but is this option something that is being developed for the Blender bridge as well? If so, please let me know and I'll hold off buying Maya Indie as well as animating the shots for my feature film that I can't do in Daz until then as I do enjoy using Blender more than Maya. So I went and got a free trial and it totally worked great. Two days ago before these updates, I randomly found out on YouTube that the Maya Bridge had the ability to export animation back into Daz. It's such an exciting time to be a part of this with so many great options to make our projects happen exactly how we need them to.

Hi Sam! Thank you so much for yourself and everybody in Daz and listed above's incredibly hard work on all the bridges and tools being developed.
